Use the HP LaserJet Pro P1102w to print locally or remotely with this driver and software package.

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w is a robust printer that is suitable for small offices as well as personal and home office use. It does not require a wired connection and does everything wirelessly. Its print speed in black is up to 19 ppm, and it offers a 150-sheet input tray.

HP supports every version of Windows from XP to 10. This includes the many various editions and both the 64-bit and 32-bit. You can opt for the drivers you need based on these details, but HP makes it easy with an auto-detect option that figures it out for you and recommends accordingly.

This package is provided as a self-extracting executable. After running it and it extracting, you will find all of the programs and files contained within that newly created file. There is a standalone driver, which is useful for people who prefer to update their drivers through Windows manually. If you prefer a more streamlined experience, HP has also provided an installer.

Right-click the installer executable, and select Run as Administrator. You can also double-click it, but you may need to OK the privileges when Windows prompts for them. The installer is simple in that it will check your drivers and only install these if your drivers are outdated, missing or corrupted. The driver does include a number of refinements and fixes, including for HP SMO.

Additionally, you will find the Firmware Update Utility and all the files it needs to update the firmware in the folder where the installer was. This is a crucial second step that updates the firmware if necessary. Updating the firmware closes security vulnerabilities that cannot be closed through the driver itself.

Finally, the folder contains installer for two optional programs: HP ePrint Software for Network and Wireless Connected Printers and HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows. The ePrint program lets you set up your printer to be accessed via the Internet so that you can print via your phone, laptop and so forth. The Doctor program is a useful tool that will help you diagnose Windows printer issues.
